Frequently Asked Questions

Special needs parking will be available at the highschool parking lot for the entire weekend.

If you live in town, please consider walking or biking to Four Seasons Park.

Parking is available at the Aquafit Centre parking lot. It takes approximately 10-20 minutes to walk into the Festival site from this location, and the links above lead to Google maps for planning the walk. **Please note earlier in the evening on Friday the Blues Run is using the Aquafit parking lot!

Please reserve the parking at Ecole Secondaire Beaumont Composite High School, 5417 43 Avenue, for those who are limited in mobility and not physically able to do the walk from the Aquafit.

We are pleased to welcome back Rickshaw Dave for 2017!

He will be running his rickshaw from the Aquafit parking lot to the Festival Grounds. Please bring cash to donate to him for his services as he does not traditionally charge for doing this and we would love for him to receive compensation for providing this awesome experience to our patrons!

Park’n’Ride is available and travels between:

Friday: École Secondaire Beaumont Composite High School to Dansereau School and Jeb’s No Frills.

Saturday & Sunday: École Secondaire Beaumont Composite High School to the Aquafit Centre and Dansereau School and Jeb’s No Frills.

Our Park’n’Ride is provided by Angela’s Buses and is a big yellow school bus! The route depends upon demand, and arrives approximately every 30 minutes at each parking lot.

Each pick up zone is marked by a blue and white Beaumont Blues sign that will be either attached to a light post or similar pole at the far end of the parking away from the buildings. Why do we do that? So that the moms with their little kids and babies can park close to the front door of the Aquafit, that’s why!

Please respect these businesses allowing us to use their parking lots by leaving the spaces closer the their front door available for their clients.

During the day and evening, the bus will run around the pick up locations of the Aquafit and Dansereau School and drop off at the Highschool. If you are being brought from Jeb’s No Frills then you will be dropped off at the Spray Park parking lot.

Walk into the Festival grounds from the Highschool by crossing the parking away from the school and towards the baseball diamonds. You will see a walking path and a driveway into a smaller parking lot within Four Seasons Park’s gates. Walk on through and follow the walking paths around the stand of trees and the brown one story building. In the heart of the park you will find the Beaumont Blues.

Coming from the Spray Park parking lot you will see the Festival grounds right in front of you on the other side of the Spray Park.

Find the tab on this page that says “Entry Gates” and find out where you get into the grounds!

We have four gates of entry to The 2017 Beaumont Blues and Roots Festival.

Please refer to the map graphic below for reference.

The Main Entrance is located just off the fork of the walking paths in Four Season Park. It is the first entrance you will see if walking from the High School parking lot.

The Main Entrance is for ticket holders and to purchase your tickets. YEGlive will have a kiosk for you to buy right at the Main Gate. Please note that tickets bought at the gate are $125 and $65 respectively.

You will find three food trucks outside the Main Gate: Cafe Bel-Aire which is featuring fresh fruit popsicles, Cosmic Pizza and Fat Franks. These three food vendors are available to the general public and for yourself, as a patron of the Beaumont Blues & Roots Festival. Ticket holders are welcome to exit and enter the grounds in order to visit these food vendors.

As we move around the fence and walking path towards the Spray Park, we will find the Musician’s Entrance and backstage area. No, you can’t enter there….unless you are a member of the band or a guest of the band. Each band provides us with a list of who they are expecting and we prepare in advance for those expected guests.

Next along the fence and near the Spray Park you will find The Volunteer’s Entrance. This is for our fantastic volunteers to arrive and check in. If you haven’t signed up yet and would like to see what shifts we have available please visit

The VIP Entrance is for those of you who are guests of companies that have rented our Cabana and VIP Tents, and also for those of you who are on the Festival Guest List and were invited by the organizers of the Festival. The VIP Entrance is located opposite the Spray Park.

There is RV camping in Beaumont at the Lions RV park, and there is paved walking paths right to the BBRF site! It is about a 10 minute walk. It is located at Gerry Patsula Park (50 St & south of 43 Ave,) is open all year and does not require bookings. It is $20 per night and includes picnic tables, gazebo, fire pit, barbeques, horse shoe pits, port-a-potties. Please note there are no hookups.

I am getting questions about tenting at the Lions RV Park. I would say the answer is “no” to tenting, as the RV Park is on the edge of Four Seasons Park, which is designated as a “day use” area. I did a quick Google search for camping areas around town, click for the results. Please note that the Google search is not an endorsement from the BBRF in regards to any of these camping sites.

Thanks ~ Maggie
