Mandy is a versatile singer, keyboardist, songwriter and rhythm guitarist based out of Edmonton, AB. She is an honors grad of the MacEwan Music Program and currently works as a full time musician, primarily as a backing vocalist and rhythm guitarist for artists such as Tiffany Dowhan, Livy Jeanne, Erin Haley and Robin Kelly, and as the lead singer of popular country act, “Mandy Reider and Cornerstone.” She also sings with her Jazz Trio “The Mandy Reider Trio” which has been an annual favorite at the Medicine Hat JazzFest since 2003.

With these and other groups, Mandy has performed at major festivals such as The Calgary Stampede, Telus Stage at Capital Ex, A Taste of Edmonton, The Creston Valley Blossom Festival, Tumbler Ridge’s Grizfest and Canadian Country Music week in Fort McLeod, Alberta. Her performances in these festivals have allowed her groups to share the stage with such established acts as Loverboy, Chilliwack, Doc Walker, George Canyon, Aaron Pritchett, Corb Lund, Gene Watson, The Stampeders, and 54-40.

Her vibrant personality and proficiency at many different genres of music set Mandy apart from her peers.

Despite her busy gigging schedule, Mandy considers herself to be just a choirgirl at heart,with an ear for complicated harmonies and a flair for rock, blues, jazz, country and pop.
