Alberta Culture Days in Beaumont AB

The Beaumont Society for the Arts, the Town of Beaumont Promotions Committee and the Beaumont Blues and Roots Festival are working together to bring you one spectacular Alberta Culture Days weekend, where we will be showcasing so much of the Art and Culture that Beaumont, AB, has to offer.

Friday, September 30, 2016

A good ol’ Canadian Block Party in and around the Bibliotheque de Beaumont Library, 5-9pm
Food trucks, including La Poutine and Rapscallions will be onsite for some tasty treats.
An Art Exhibit will be held inside the library while live entertainment including; Comedian Bob Beddow, Fiddler Deanna Dolstra, A French Rock Band and the band Lily and The Jazzy Rock Quartet to finish the night.

Culture Day  
Live Entertainment will be provided the whole day from 1-7pm, including Les Bûcheron Performance
beginning at 3:30 -5pm

Artist workshops will be running in and around The Beaumont Library from 1-4 pm, including Photography guided photo walks around the library & town office area (bring your camera), Wood turning key-chain, Stained glass and Henna Art.

There will be a Fundraising BBQ for one of our community groups running 1-3pm.

At 4pm the Taste of Beaumont will begin and included the following local restaurants, Chartier, Crepe and Shake Café, Jef’s Café, Maina’s Donair, Twin Dragon, Golden Palace, and Canadian Taste Buds.
